Backcountry Fall Staples

Exploring a city is easier these days with social media, yet we all long to find beauty on our own off the grids of social media. Nashville has thousands of places to visit and we were lucky enough to come across a park not on our radar, but still well known to locals. Warner Park is a haven for nature and 3,100 acres of natural and man made trails. We took the park in some updated fall staples from Backcountry. I stumbled upon this oversized plaid shirt jacket in the new arrivals section as the purple plaid was so unique. I love to find and splurge on interesting pieces that I can layer with and around all fall. You could pair the oversized plaid shirt jacket with a graphic t-shirt and denim and take it to dinner as well. For our day at the park I paired it with my newly obsessed platform checker Vans I also picked up at Backcountry. I have not taken them off since they arrived. I wore them last week two separate times with my go-to denim shorts. The weather is still so transitional for so many of us so they are the perfect sneaker to dress up or down this fall.
