The full guide to Valentines Day Date Night at home

I am so excited to able to get extra creative this year for a special Valentines’s Day date night at home. Nordstrom is my one stop retailer where I can easily create the perfect makeup, hair, and outfit recipe I need to make myself feel extra special even though I know we will be celebrating at home. I encourage every single one of you to dress up for no reason, to do up that face, curl that hair, and put on that sparkly dress and heels. I promise it will make your night at home even more special. Order local delivery for your favorite restaurant so that you can spend that hour getting ready for your husband instead of cooking dinner. Order pizza for the kids and put them down to bed early if they are younger so that you can have that alone time with your man. I try to make it a point to do this every two weeks with Sean. It strengths our marriage and our relationship that I decide to put in the extra time to dress up for him, give him my undivided attention, and spend extra time with him over dinner and a glass of wine. Okay on to the perfect recipe of makeup, hair, and a fun outfit all from Nordstrom.

1: Makeup

This is the most important category where I love to spend the extra time. We all know how few times we actually get all dolled up any more. Put on that full face of makeup sister. I recently got the new Charlotte Tilbury Lunar New Year Charlotte’s Magic Cream, it is magic alright! It is like I drank 7 gallons of water and it all went to my face. It is so hydrating for these cold dry winter months. I have been LOVE LOVEing this new foundation balm that I got by Kevin Aucoin. It just glides on so beautiful and quick might I add. I use the shade medium 6. I have been using this very easy Charlotte Tillbury palette on my dress up nights. It is beautiful. It can be great for everyday but its also perfect to create an evening eye. Lastly lips are the most important, I love the new Claudette Audacious Matte Lipstick in shade Mathilde. The perfect shade of blush nude. I also topped it off with some Pillow Talk gloss.

2: Hair 

Curl it up sister. I love love my T3 Curling Iron. I use the 1.25 size and it gives me the perfect tousled curls. Curl it up, and spray in all the texture spray!

3: Outfit 

I love love to wear something extra pink and sparkly for this holiday. Below are my favorites from Nordstrom right now. Some of them are even marked down 40% off making the dress less than $50!
