My approach to the Nordstrom Sale this year is much different and unique than years past and I am so happy about it. I am here to tell you that you do NOT need anything. BUT I am going to share with you how I studied the sale and break down what I believe is the best strategy for the sale this year. I am going to share my top 3 items in 6 different category ways:

3 new pairs of shoes I purchased

3 new pieces of clothing I purchased.

3 pieces I already own that I wear year over year that are worth the investment.

3 repeat items from last years sale that I bought that are included this year.

3 items I wanted to buy but did not need.

3 items Sean purchased.

I really hope you enjoy the way I am sharing the sale this year and that this sale does not suffocate you and make you want items you do not need. In total for the sale Sean and I spent less than $750 together. If you are just shopping women’s fashion I spent less than $450. You can shop this sale SMART with out breaking the bank, I promise!

3 New Shoes

1. Vince Camuto Gigetta Bootie $99  Tortilla Suede is my shade (last year this brand ran big and sized down, this year this style runs TTS, I got my true size 9)
2. Madewell Genuine Calf Hair Mule $54.90 (Run TTS, I got a 9)
3. Adidas Swift Run Sneaker in Gold Sparkle $63.90 (I size down a .5 size in this style, got a 8.5)

3 New Pieces of Clothing

1. Halogen Ruffle Neck Top in Solid Black and Solid White $38.90  (I wear a small in these, TTS)
2. B.P. Leopard Print Hoodie $31.90  (I took a Medium b.c. of the crop)
3. B.P. Leopard Print Jogger Sweatpants $31.90  (I took a Medium)

3 Pieces I already own. BEST items I wear year over year

1. Halogen V-Neck Tunic Tee $18.90  (I wear a small in these, TTS)
2. SPANX Faux Leather Legging $65 (these will sell out I wear a medium in these)
3. Leopard Print Bootie $86.90 (mine are a bit different from last year but my point is, you need leopard print booties see below for all the ways I have styled and worn them)

3 Repeat Items 

1. B.P. Lace Tank Cami $25.90 (comes in tons of colors, I take this in a small I have black from last year I still wear, If you need a new work top get it in the leopard print and wear a black blazer over it)
2. B.P. V Neck Tee Shirt $11.90 (I have about 5 color ways from last year that I still wear, snag you a tee if you think you need some new ones I wear them in a Small)
3. Jeans: Articles of Society Sarah Black Skinny Jeans $41.90 (I bought these 3 years ago in the NSale and I still wear them, they are GREAT under $50 jeans, I sized up one in these from my true size) and last year I raved about the Wit & Wisdom Absolution High Rise Skinny Jeans $51.90 (these are the BEST jeans that suck you in the inside of the waist band is stretchy and so comfortable, they run true to size)

3 Items I WANTED but did not NEED

1. Zella Sherpa Zip Up Jacket $58.90 (I love this but I know I will not get enough use out of it in Florida. This was a WANT but not a NEED)
2. Nike Pullover Sweatshirt Hoodie  (I have last years Nsale version that I still love I do not NEED a new one but really wanted this)
3. Nike Logo Crop Tee Shirt (I have one just like this from two Nsale’s ago. I really wanted to replace it but I do not NEED a new one)

3 Items Sean Purchased

1. Travis Matthews Performance Shorts (Sean loves these shorts, he has 2 color ways, he can wear them to dinner, to golf, to the beach, they are the ultimate hybrid shorts, he says they run very true to size).
2. Travis Matthews Talk to me V-Neck T-shirt (Sean loves the fit of these tee’s he picked up another 2 colorways, he likes to dress them down with the shorts above, dress them up with jeans and dress shoes and sometimes even throws a blazer over them)
3. Nike Free MetCon Training Shoe (Sean was shocked to find these shoes in the sale, a metcon training shoe is a crossfit style work out shoe. He was shocked to see the under $100 price tag and snatched them up, he can do any type of workout in this crossover training shoe).
