Outfit | Vince in Venice Beach
When your city has nothing on the radar but storms, there is only one thing left to do, take a flight somewhere you can always count on to have beautiful weather. My husband and I decided on sunny Southern California and hoped for the weather to live up to its reputation. We were excited to step out of our regular look and pack some effortless west coast style that we picked out from Nordstrom. We snagged an epic outdoor oasis from Airbnb in the middle of funky Venice beach with everything we needed within walking or biking distance. The start of the weekend was not complete until we stocked the fridge!
After arrival we stopped at the local market on Abbot Kinney and picked up fresh ingredients to make our staple Mexican dish. Perfectly ripe avocados, grilled corn, warm brown rice, organic black beans, and fresh ground turkey is all you need to whip this dish right up. We love to toss all of these yummy ingredients into a big bowl and top it with some fresh tomatillo salsa and sriracha ranch. Pair it with a side of crispy Tostitos and pour yourself an ice-cold beer.
I pulled out my best white jeans from Nordstrom and tossed it on with a Vince essential but classic tee in buttercream. I wanted to add a little So-Cal to my look so I packed my trendy Jeffrey Campbell wedges and a new pair of crisp white statement drops earrings.
Sean rolled up his go-to jeans and paired them with a brand new Vince polo in bold blue. His beach slip-on shoes made him fit right in with the sun, sand, and surf of the west coast.
Dining alfresco at our outdoor oasis was the perfect ending to a relaxing weekend spent together in Venice Beach.
